Hi, I’m Dinesh Nagar, a UX design leader with 20 years of experience delivering high-quality designs and over a decade leading teams. I’ve built and led high-performance UX teams to create digital experiences across mobile, tablet, web, and beyond. My approach is user-first, data-informed, and grounded in system design principles, with a focus on solving problems for users.
I love working closely with cross-functional teams and executives to shape UX and product strategies that align with business goals. Building strong partnerships across the organization is key to driving a user-centric culture, continuous discovery, and successful product launches. I’m always looking for ways to elevate design’s role in driving business outcomes.
I’ve also had the opportunity to advise startups, helping them shape their products and business strategies with a focus on UX. My experience in scaling design teams has played a big part in driving business growth, especially in the enterprise SaaS space. I focus on designing products that resonate with end-users while keeping buyers’ needs in mind, which is crucial for building sustainable revenue streams. I also value working on internal tools and systems that help businesses operate more efficiently and serve their customers better.
Outside of work, I’m really passionate about economics and investing. I enjoy digging into the psychology of money, exploring long-term investment strategies, and thinking about how value and growth play out in different markets. I find a lot of parallels between designing products and investing—both require a mix of patience, insight, and a long-term perspective.
When I’m not in front of a screen, I’m playing squash or out hiking whenever I can. It’s my way of staying active and clearing my mind. There’s nothing like sweating and being out in nature to recharge and spark fresh ideas. I’m also into gardening—growing vegetables and fruits has been a hobby of mine for years. There’s something incredibly satisfying about watching something you planted grow, kind of like seeing a product evolve over time.
And, of course, I love spending time with friends and family. Hosting get-togethers and being around the people who matter most to me keeps me grounded and brings balance to my busy life.
